Welcome to Snehanjali
SNEHANJALI – an NGO, registered under the Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860 Vide Registration No. RS/KAM (M)263/T/302 of 2018-2019 is an initiative of DPS Guwahati teaching and non-teaching staff, formed in the month of August, 2018.
It envisages helping the underprivileged members of the society of all strata and age groups. Nonetheless, at this moment the NGO is helping the deprived children to live with dignity, purpose and hope. Its primary goal is to carry out various other activities for the social upliftment of economically backward sections of the society.
All members of DPS Guwahati have volunteered a part of their monthly salary towards this noble cause as long as they remain associated with the school.
On 15th August, 2018, the organization had launched a long term, regular and monthly Nutritional Support Program for the Pediatric Dept. of Dr. B.Barooah Cancer Institute, Guwahati.
